Ganderbal Treak
DAY 1 : SRINAGAR-SONAMARG -THAJIWAS GLACIER Leave Srinagar by cars /coach 84 Kms. (3 Hrs. drive ) to Sonmarg half day walk to Glacier . Camp at the foot of the Glacier which is 3000 Mtrs. . Dinner and overnight in tents .
DAY 2 : THAJIWAS GLACIER - NICHNAI Start trekking after breakfast 5/6 Hrs. walk .(13 Kms.) steep ascending upto Shokhadri and Glacier peaks descend towards Nichnai .Dinner and overnight in tents .
DAY 3 : NICHNAI - VISHNASAR KRISHANSAR LAKE After breakfast start ascending to Nichnai pass (13579 Feet) then descend towards Vishnasar & Krishnasar Lakes 5/6 Hrs. walk crossing a streme at the end . Dinner and overnight in tents.
DAY 4 : VISHNASAR KRISHANSAR - GADSAR Leave after breakfast 6/7 Hrs. walk 16 Kms. towards Gadsar known as Botanist paradise steep ascending upto Krishansar pass which is 4080 Mtrs.. Dinner and overnight in tents .
DAY 5 : GADSAR - GANGABAL LAKE Start after breakfast 8/9 Hrs.walk 19 Kms. ascending to Poshpathri (The valley of Flowers) which is 13000 Feet the gradual walk upto Megandub. After Megandub start ascending to Zangibal peak 4180 Mtrs.. This is the highest pass on this trek which you can see beautiful view of the Gangabal lakes and Harmukh peak. Dinner and overnight in tents.
DAY 6 : GANGABAL Day for leisure or Rainbow Trout Fishing at Gangabal lake or full day visit to Lul Gul pass from where you can see beautiful view of Nanga Parbat . Dinner and overnight in tents .
DAY 7 : GANGABAL - NARNAG - SRINAGAR Leave after breakfast on the way see Trunkol and Nunkol two small Gypsies villages the steep descend towards Narnag . At Narnag visit Buddhist Monastery . It is said that 3rd world Conference of Buddhist was held some where around this place . Leave by car/coach to Srinagar 2 Hrs. drive . ( TOUR ENDS HERE )
